Dr. Ugrinska obtained her medical and specialist degree at the University “ Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. Since 1995 she is working at the Institute of Pathophysiology and Nuclear Medicine “ Akademik Isak S Tadzer” at the same university . Trained in nuclear oncology at the University of Leiden, Netherlands and in positron emission tomography at the National Institute of Oncology in Milano Italy. At the beginnings of her career in nuclear medicine she conducted research in the field of gastrointestinal motility and salivary gland function. Current area of interest is nuclear oncology and optimization of radioiodine therapy protocols in thyroid cancer patients.
Author and coauthor of 48 abstracts& articles. Member and National delegate at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), member of the World Association of Radiopharmaceutical and Molecular Therapy (WARMTH), member of the National Advisory Board for GEP-NETs, member and current president of the Macedonian Association of Nuclear Medicine.
